6 cups of popcorn
2/3 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons Madhava Organic Amber Raw Agave
2 Tablespoons almond butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
Just in time for Halloween, these popcorn balls are made with Madhava Organic Amber Raw Agave for a better-for-you alternative to sugary, processed candies! But don’t let this recipe become just a seasonal treat – toss a bagful in your child’s school lunch, and bring a few to work as an afternoon snack. Mix popcorn and almonds into a large bowl. Add agave and almond butter to a saucepan over medium heat. Once the syrup starts to get light, frothy and bubbly cook and stir for 30 more seconds.
Pour the syrup over the popcorn, mix with a wooden spoon until lightly covered. Let it cool completely. Once cooled, press small amounts into your hand and form little balls.
