Baked Ginger Honey Chicken Wings

This chicken wings recipe can be prepped in 5 minutes, bakes in 45 minutes, and is so full of flavor, don't be surprised if you find yourself reusing the marinade again and again! The spicy red chili is balanced out with ginger and a touch of our raw organic honey for delicious flavor. While these homemade chicken wings are great on their own, try serving them with a side of mango salsa to really bring out the taste of summer.

Save even more time before dinner and prep this the night before! Simply store the marinating chicken wings in a zip-top back or Tupperware, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.

Ingredients

20-30 chicken wings

5 scallions, chopped

1 red chili, minced

1/4 cup Madhava Natural Sweeteners Pure & Raw Organic Honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce or Bragg Liquid Aminos

1-2 teaspoons grated ginger, depending on preference

5 sprigs fresh thyme

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the scallions, red chili, organic honey, soy sauce and grated ginger, stirring to combine. Add chicken wings, folding to fully coat.
3. Arrange chicken wings in a single layer on the lined baking sheet and drizzle with any remaining marinade.
4. Place chicken wings in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, until cooked through and skin is crispy.
